Managerspeak

I think I've figured out what it takes to be upper-level management. The following tips, used ad nauseum in emails, should do the trick.
  1. Describe any contact you've made with anyone as "reaching out."
  2. Say "I'm working closely with [insert an important person, regardless of whether you are actually working closely with them or have simply emailed them once]."
  3. Use the word "positioning" a lot.
  4. Everything you do should be done "strategically."
  5. State your goal to "become the premier [insert your program] in [insert your geographical region]."
  6. Use the phrase "execute on" regardless of the fact that the preposition is unnecessary and incorrect.
