One of my former AFSC co-workers was an Iraq War veteran. When he started working with us, he had just gotten back from shooting a movie with Matt Damon. I had completely forgotten this fact until recently when I started seeing the previews for Green Zone. This is it! Way to go, Eugene! A lot of the actors in the movie are former soldiers with no acting background.
The movie opened last weekend and didn't do that well. I've been reading various reviews and articles on why Green Zone, and other movies like it, don't appeal to more people. Thanks for the info. I like to support our soldiers and their endeavors. I hadn't even heard of this movie, but will see if I can find it locally.
